About Kyotographie piece

The Nijo-jo castle venue of Kyotographie 2021 explores the distinctive echos created by the 2011 Great East Japan earthquake. In line with this theme, Chikuunsai IV Tanabe’s piece expresses the strong resilience and life force bamboos exert in the face of adversities.
