Located in the new Qiantan Taikoo Li mall, our first CASA LOEWE in Shanghai features the familiar motifs of our global store design concept while retaining its own unique character—including a pop-up space dedicated to art and capsule collections.
With concrete floors and colourful ceramic walls throughout, the space will showcase the full men’s and women’s collections with a special bamboo-clad room for small leather goods. Alongside, contemporary furniture includes chairs by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld, coffee tables by Axel Vervoordt and carpets featuring the work of artist John Allen.
Our permanent collection of works by international artists include paintings by Patricia Leite, known for her representation of bucolic scenes and Shinpei Kusanagi, whose abstract compositions are inspired by natural forms. Sculpture by LOEWE Foundation Craft Prize finalist Takayuki Sakiyama and artist Javier Sanchez Medina sits alongside works by ceramicist Simon Kidd and another Craft Prize finalist Tony Marsh.
