Frayed Bucket bag in raffia and calfskin

Created by Galician artisan Álvaro Leiro, the Frayed Bucket bag is inspired by the traditional techniques and materials used to create rainwear garments in Northern Spain. It has a body woven in reeds and calfskin, a fringed outer, a handwoven coiled calfskin handle and is finished with an Anagram. The bag is part of the Salone collection. This medium version is made in Spain using raffia leaves that have been cultivated, harvested, sun-dried and handwoven by artisans in Madagascar.
