PhotoESPAÑA 2025
LOEWE and LOEWE FOUNDATION present an exhibition dedicated to Dora Maar, a pioneer of 20th-century photography, curated by María Millán and held at Museo Lázaro Galdiano, Madrid.

A rare collection of Barcelona street photography from 1933, highlights political and social unrest preceding the Spanish Civil War.

The exhibition provides an intimate view into Maar’s imagination with a selection of personal drawings, shown publicly for the first time.

A prominent Surrealist, Maar’s work includes portraits of key cultural figures including playwright Jean Cocteau, and fellow artist Pablo Picasso.
Visit the exhibition at Museo Lázaro Galdiano until 14 September 2025.
